About Imperfect Perfections
How the Name Came to Be
Imperfect Perfections is the name of my new business, and honestly, the name came to me quickly. In the fall of 2024, I started playing with the idea of repurposing both vintage and modern flannels, but with a twist: adding original designs to make each one unique. What began as a simple fundraiser for Love More Judge Less started to grow into something more.
By the end of 2024, I realized this was something I wanted to pursue full-time, separate from the nonprofit, but still rooted in the same values of self-expression, authenticity, and inclusion.
The name Imperfect Perfections speaks to what I believe most deeply: that our flaws, quirks, and rough edges don’t need to be hidden. Whether it’s a personality trait, a physical difference, or a part of your story that feels messy; we all carry imperfections. But those imperfections don’t cancel out our worth. In fact, they add to it. When we embrace our flaws, we find beauty, strength, and style that’s all our own.
That’s what Imperfect Perfections is all about; wearing what makes you you.

The domain name Stay Weird Be You comes from my own story; years of being told I was weird, that I looked different, and being asked, “Why can’t you just be normal?”
But I didn’t want to be like everyone else. As a teen, I found freedom in fashion—taking sewing classes, making my own clothes, and showing up in ways that felt true to me. In fact, I was voted “Most Radical” in high school (no surprise there).
Over time, I realized that what made me “weird” was exactly what made me me. So I leaned in. And that’s where the name comes from.

- Be You: because there’s nothing more important.
This shop is more than a business. It’s a space to express yourself, find one-of-a-kind pieces, and feel seen. A gift shop, a safe space, a little bit of rebellion, fun, and a whole lot of heart.
